My focus at The Field is to prepare vertebrate fossils using manual, mechanical, and chemical preparation technique. Molding, casting, cast painting, and mounting of specimens for research, collection, collection exchange, education, exhibit, and donors (ref. Buitreraptor, Protoceratops, Psittacosaurus, Yammaceratops, Chinchillas, Archeohyracid, Notoungulates, Priscacara, Brachiosaurus, Titanosaurus, Tenontosaurus, Eoscopus, Captorhynus, Mososaur). As Chief Preparator, I manage three lab facilities and oversee staff's daily and long-term projects, conservation of vertebrate fossils for collection and exhibits, as well as supervise and train interns, volunteers, and students. I also coordinate, assist, and organize fieldworks when curators of Geology Department conduct explorations in the various parts of the world. I also lead occasional tours and teach educational programs, help visitors to the museum who bring fossils for identification.
