Kirk Anne Taylor joined The Field Museum’s Environmental and Conservation Programs department in 2004. As the Urban Conservation Manager, Kirk Anne oversees the development and expansion of the Calumet Environmental Education Program (CEEP), coordinates teacher trainings, and supports student action projects which help to conserve the biodiversity of the Calumet region.

Prior to joining The Field Museum, Kirk Anne served as the Executive Director for Lowcountry Earth Force in Charleston, South Carolina, where she worked to expand Earth Force’s environmental education programs to a four-county region. She began her career in Environmental Education as a Naturalist at the Barrier Island Environmental Education Center in Seabrook Island, South Carolina. Kirk Anne graduated with a B.A. in English from Hendrix College in Arkansas, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Illinois Chicago.
